Orientation module “Textile”, Lucerne School of Arts and Design, January 2019, three weeks.
In this module I experimented with printing on textiles. At that time a new technic for me. I worked with Circle stencils, taping, overprinting, with an empty screen and self-made stamps.
I created three fabric series: free printing with stencils, printing on patterned fabrics and printing with a recurring motive. Afterwards I photographed them in different setting. This module was all about experimenting and learning. I worked very intuitively and enjoyed the producing, discarding and recombining.
